Peanut Butter Party Mix

I made this for the 4th of July for a snack and this combo was so good! I used red and blue mnm’s but you could use whatever color for different occasions! Or add sprinkles to make it more festive.

1 Box of Peanut Butter Chex
1 Bag of Skinny Pop Popcorn (or something similar) - about 5 oz.
1/2 Bag of Pretzels (I like the square snaps)
2 Cups Peanuts
2 Cups Mini Marshmallows
2 Cups Mnm’s (I used regular and peanut)
1 Bag of white chocolate chips, melted

Mix everything in a large bowl and divide between two cookie sheets and drizzle with melted white chocolate, this is when you can add sprinkles! Let chocolate set and enjoy!

Snack Stuff

I'm sure you all have this recipe written down but I wanted to put it on here to share with everyone else! This is THE White family Snack Stuff. Mom wanted the original ingredients listed but I'll write what we usually sub in now.

1 lb. butter
4 Tbs. worschesire sauce
2 tsp. celery salt
1 c. wesson vegetable oil
Tabasco sauce (a couple dashes)
1 box accent seasoning (2 Tbs)
2 Tbs. allspice
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Combine ingredients in saucepan and heat until combined

1 box Cheerios
1 box Kix (we haven't been putting these in for a long time)
2 bags Pretzels (we like sticks)
1 box Wheat Thins
1 box Rice Chex (we also love to add Wheat Chex although these were not on the original recipe)
Cheese Tid Bits (we use goldfish, around half of one of the big cartons)
Mixed Nuts (a costco size can, we like almonds, peanuts, cashews, brazil nuts)
1 bag Fritos

It works best to combine all ingredients in a garbage bag to mix. Use a large roasting pan and gradually drizzle sauce over snack mixture. Pour and stir, pour and stir and repeat :-)

Bake uncovered at 200* for 3 1/2 hours, stirring the mixture every 30 minutes. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays!!

*Note: this mixture doesn't usually fit in one pan to bake it, but it fits great divided between two large tin foil roasting pans! Bonus if you have two ovens ;-) if not, you can squeeze them in together in one oven or just do them separately*

No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Bars

I'm posting this for Lucy!

These are really good for you and very filling!

*For best results use the best quality ingredients you can afford*

1/4 c. Coconut Oil (could use butter)
1/4 c. Cocoa Powder (natural not dutched)
1-2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

1 tsp. Vanilla
Optional pinch of Cayenne

1/2 c. Crunchy Peanut Butter
1/2 c. Rolled Oats
1/2 c. Chia Seeds
1 c. Walnuts, Cashews, Almonds, or Hazelnuts, chopped very fine
*1/4 c.Sesame Seeds
*3/4 c. Dried Blueberries, or Cranberries, chopped (any dried fruit you want)
*1/2 c. Protein Whey Powder
*1/2 c. Macro Greens

Combine first 4 ingredients in small pan and bring to a boil
Boil 3 minutes and remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and optional cayenne. (FYI- Cayenne is an appetite suppressant)
Stir in peanut butter, oats, chia, nuts, sesame seeds, dried fruit, whey powder, and macro greens.
Spread into an 8x8 pan and cut into bars when cool. (If doubled, it fits in a jelly roll pan)
Optional, you can dip in dark chocolate.

*The items that have a * are already doubled and Lucy added these to the original recipe.*

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

*I also added Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder to mine, they were really good! It wasn't as big of a pain as I thought either to pick out the seed while gutting out pumpkin.

1 1/2 c. pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons melted butter or olive oil
salt

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

While it's OK to leave some strings and pulp on your seeds (it adds flavor) clean off any major chunks.

Toss pumpkin seeds in a bowl with the melted butter or oil and seasonings of your choice.

Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on baking sheet.

Bake for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
