1 c. white karo syrup
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
Combine these ingredients to a soft ball. Then turn heat off and add:
11 oz. flaked coconut
1 1/2 T. flour
Mix well, put into lightly butter square pan. Cool, cut, and dip. (I also remember grandma wrapping the square of almond joy around an almond then dipping in chocolate)
