I'm cracking up looking through family recipes and their names and the way these cute old ladies write them down, so I decided we needed one from the Fitch family (Tyler's Mom's side) This is an essential jello that is on the table at every holiday at their house! It's actually super yummy. Donna is Jim's (Grandpa Fitch) sister.
Mix together:
1 1/2 C boiling water
1 large package of lime jello
Add:
2 Cups cold liquid (all the juice from the can of pears and cold water to equal 2 cups)
Blend in blender:
1 qt. of pears (drained)
8 oz. cream cheese (room temp)
Mix with jello. Add 1 tsp almond extract (very important ingredient). Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Set well in fridge. Top with whipped cream.
