1 head red leaf lettuce
1 bunch spinach
3/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
3/4 lb. swiss cheese
1 red onion diced
1/2 lb. crip bacon diced
strawberries sliced
*sprinkle 3 tbsp. sugar on 3 hours before serving
DRESSING:
3 tbls. poppy seed
1/3 c. white or red vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tbls. mustard
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. grated red onion
Pour dressing over salad then add 1/2 c. slivered almonds.
{I like the salad all with spinach leaves - no mushrooms - and really small pieces of onion.}
